Panoramas of the World

Barri Gòtic (Barcelona)

The Gothic Quarter is also called the “heart of Barcelona”. Even today, it still shows the former glory of Catalonia. Many of the architectural monuments originate from the 14th and 15th century.

This part of the city is well known for its narrow alleys. The panorama photo was taken on the Placa de Sant Jaume, which is surrounded by the palace of the generality and the city hall.
