Bourke`s Luck Potholes (South Africa)

These bizarre, cylindric holes are located in the Blyde River Canyon in the northeast of South Africa close to the Krüger National Park. Water coming from the Blyde River into the Treur is responsable for these stone formations.

Visitors of the Potholes can observe the phenomenon of nature from above. Wooden bridges span over the Blyde River Canyon. The trail down into the canyon starts from here. Not far from here are the viewing points of God `s Window and Wonder View as well as The Pinnacle.
