Panoramas of the World

Sony Center (Potsdamer Platz)

The construction costs for the Sony Center in Berlin amounted to 600 million Euros once it was finished in 2000. The architect Helmut Jahn created a complex with seven buildings on a property of about 26,000 square meters.

Very impressive is the fanned out tent roof made of fabric which rests upon the surrounding buildings. It represents the mountain Fujisan, one of the landmarks of Japan.
